Tommy lighter coppy

Picked this little lighter up for about £3-4 its brass plated steel was told its from 1933 and i can beleive it, it's a copy of a tommy lighter issued to soilders and sold after WW1

It has a small fuel tank for extra fuel very useful feature that i wouldn't mind on my zippo
it's a copy because of the pattern of the holes in the chimney and it doesn't have the tommy logo printed on it
like this one

this lighter needs a new wick theres just a small stump of wick left on both sides and i will put it on the belt polisher and post, how it comes out.

  10. @724427 i mainly use zippos aswell i've had tommy lighters before the problem in the design is that the extra fuel tank slips inside were the cotten wool is so... as it heats up in your pocket guess what happens the fuel drains straight out and then need filling 1-2 a day

@D yes mate i have cleaned it up alot already just needs new wick new cotten wool and bench polishing
